Having a white and healthy set of teethes not only presents you with that beautiful and perfect smiles, it also boost your confidence when speaking. With proper oral and dental care, your month is left with a clean set of teethes and a refreshing breath. Theoretical, the job is keeping ones teeth white and clean looks easy, but in practical, this is one of the most difficult job to man.
A lot of people I know are faced with the problem of decay teeth and are looking for ways to improve their dental hygiene hence this post. Here we will be looking at the proper way to care for your teeth.
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR TEETH
1) USING THE RIGHT TOOTHBRUSH
Using the right type of toothbrush, will help in improving the condition of your teeth, and also help in whitening it, given you that perfect breath. It is advisable to brush with a toothbrush that has a small head and a perfect area for gripping. This will ensure that the inner parts of your teeth are clean are free of germs as brushes with bigger head will not be able to achieve this.
2) WHEN TO CHANGE YOUR TOOTHBRUSH
For you to maintain a perfect dental and oral hygiene, you such know when to change your toothbrush. It is advisable to always change your brush after every 3 months. This is because the brush tends to wear away with time and may not be effective as when you got it. Also with regular usage, gums or bacteria’s tends to build up in the brush so for you to improve your oral hygiene, try to change your brush every three months.
3) WHEN TO BRUSH
Knowing when to brush also helps to improve the condition of your teeth. Must people I know only brush once a day and that is in the morning when their wake-up. To achieve a clean and white sets of teethes you should learn or try to brush twice a day. First in the morning after you take your breakfasts, the other in the evening after dinner. This will ensure that sticky food remains are washed off your month.

Brushing in the up and down direction is the right way to clean your teeth. When you brush, try not to apply too much force as this may cause problem to your gums.
5) USING FLUORIDE TOOTHPASTE
Fluoride toothpaste is the recommend choice of tooth whitener. This is because, fluoride helps to rebuild weak teeth and also reverse tooth decay. So maintaining or improving the condition of your teeth, then use only fluoride toothpaste.
6) VISIT TO THE DENTIST
This is one area I know many people don’t do. Visiting the regular will help to improve your teeth condition. They will be able to help advice you in the best practice to undertake when you have problems or pains in your mouth or teeth. So make it a habit of visiting the dentist at least twice a year. That is every 6 month.
ADDITION TIP:
It is important to note that you should not brush your teeth after drinking Coke or Pepsi as the acid content in the drinks softens your teeth. Doing this, maybe very harmful for your teeth. If you must brush try to wait at least 30 minutes.
