Airtel: How To Get 6GB For N1500

Remember the popular Airtel 3GB blackberry data plan that goes for N1,500? There is a latest update on this as the telecom giant has made an upgrade to the plan. Airtel has increase the plan from 3GB to 6GB at the same price. This is a good gesture coming from Airtel as the plan works on both Android and Iphone as well. 

While this may be a welcome development, There is an issue of eligibility. The plans is not open to every customer but to only a selected few. You have to be eligible to enjoy this. So to know if you qualify, simply text *440*16# on your phone and you will get a text message that says;

Dear Customer, you do not have sufficient balance for this plan

If you get this message, simply recharge N1,500 on your Airtel sim card and text *440*16# to subscribe. To check your data balance, dial *123*10#.

But if you are not eligible, you will receive a message that says 

Dear Customer, you are not eligible for this offer. Kindly dial *440*1# to select other blackberry offers.
